Why?
Why do we say "TAKE a shit"?
I mean, we really leave it. I know this sounds very Senfeldian but it struck me today that it makes no sense to "take" a shit. Even when you say it less vulgarly (??) such as ".. a dump", we still use "take."
OK, so to make yourself useful, let me know your favorite euphemism for leaving a shit. I'll start:
1. Taking the kids to the pool.
2. Blowing mud
3. Letting my butt-snake out for a swim

Also, it sounds better if you say "drop the kids off at the pool" instead of taking.
