Captain, I thought you were a flaming liberal. You LIED?
Oh and what's this about "How does this happen??" According to your other site, you've been reading the same eleven hundred books for the past year or so...
And thanks for promptly finishing my epic. I think I'm going to char-broil your character and then mince him into tiny pieces and feed them to a rabid, Rastafarian squirrel.
o!: anyone that even remotely knows me knows I am not a liberal. Even my ultra-liberal cousin knows yet still talks to me. I'm so non-liberal, I've been accused of being a putz. I'm about as Republican as they come except I don't like guns. From a Marine, I know, crazy.
You are right about the books, though. I have a few that I've started and have just sat there waiting to be completed. Yours being one of them. (sheepish grin).
It is worth a read ONCE. That is it. Its one of those books every techie should read once just for the value of picking it to pieces. It is not particularly well written, but it does have some interesting geek stuff. Take the movie "Hackers" combine it with "Max Headroom" add a touch of "Blade Runner" and you are on the right track. You might also want to consider "Neuromancer".

Lora,
I've enjoyed Grisham nevels lately and of course, the Harry Potter series. It's the only series I've ever been completely caught up with.

Hells NO!!! He's a funny dude to be sure but a liberal SOB to the extreme.
Plus, could you see ANYTHING getting done? It would be funny but we'd be speaking Chinese in a month.

Laura, I don't even want to begin to guess what you wrote since "Your" is possessive.
Who's Brad?

Try "Snow Crash" for desert, it is an interesting post-modern story line that will make you think about Max Headroom.

I can't believe you don't know the reference with that line.
Sheesh...

Ray, you serious? Is it worth the read?

Laura, I looked it up. I only really watched Pulp Fiction once. Didn't know that was a famous line from it.
Accept my heartfelt apologies and don't smite me.
