    She was a Major, not a Captain and she was hard as woodpecker lips.

    I concur whole-heartedly with your assessment of the media.

    If this was during the election, I'm sure it would have been "important" to them as they could have used her tragic death to punctuate their anti-Bush rantings.

    Well, she's a hero, her death is a tragedy and the media can kiss my ass too!
